PETER DERRICK NICKSON Peacefully, on July 7, 2011 Peter passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 68. He was predeceased by his wife Norma Rachel in 2003. He will be forever remembered by his extended family Ian (Rachel) Stevenson of Cambridge, Ontario; nieces Heidi and Amber; sisters Penny and Sandra along with their families in England; Robert and Cathy Stevenson also of Cambridge, Ontario as well as numerous extended family and friends. Peter worked as a postal clerk for the Winnipeg Postal Service for 36 years until his retirement in 2003. Both he and Norma had a love of traveling and together they took numerous vacations together to tropical destinations such as Jamaica, Hawaii and Cuba as well as trips back home to England. His hobbies included reading and sports and he will certainly be missed by his Buddies at the Pubs . Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. The family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff on the 4th and 5th Floors at the Grace Hospital.
